Internment, by Samira Ahmed is about an internment camp the US started in the middle of nowhere. The main character gets sent there, and shows what life is like inside the camp, also becoming one of the Directors enemies while she is there, I would definitely recommend this book.

Disappearing Earth was a great novel, filled with lots of suspense and mystery, that held you right until the end. The novel is written from the points of view of many different community members, showing how the disappearance of the two girls affects the whole community, all in different ways.
